An issue in the submarine link Tuesday has impacted the web speed in the country after which the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL) began to move web traffic to different links.
South East Asia-Middle East-Western Europe 4 SEA-ME-WE 4 is an optical fiber submarine interchanges link framework that conveys media communications between Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates ....Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Egypt, Italy, Tunisia, Algeria and France".
As indicated by industry sources, the shortcoming in submarine link has impacted web speed in the country that will make issues for clients at top hours.
In the interim, PTCL gave an assertion saying that courses of action had been made for "substitute transmission capacity".
"In the following not many days, extra transfer speed will be added," the assertion said.
In this period, web paces will be "marginally impacted", the assertion cautioned clients.
