Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities in Canada

• You can drive a truck and work on it.

• Record cargo information, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
• Drive and operate straight trucks to transport goods and services.

• Load and unload equipment.
• Perform precautionary measures.
• Get information and deliver to Central Dispatch.
• Inspect and monitor all aspects of the vehicle before, during, and after the trip

Skills required.

• Better information and communication skills
• Must be able to lift 80 pounds throughout the day.
• Must have a good driving record.
• There is no crime record in the last seven years.
• Must have pellet truck experience.
• Must have forklift experience.
• Must have knowledge of driving / traffic rules / DOT regulations.

Eligibility Required for Truck Driver jobs in canada 2022

• High school diploma or equivalent degree
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have at least six months of OTR experience.
• Certificate from CDL School
• Commercial Driving License - Class A, Class B, and Class C.
