Job description
You will be hired as a Financial Services Specialist, which is our most senior role - part problem solver, part decision maker. Ideal Financial Services Specialist is caring, compassionate, passionate, solution oriented and committed to providing excellent Nordstrom customer service every day.
Working Hours: 5:00 am-12am (Midnight) PST Shift: Full time positions are available, business hours will vary according to need. Flexibility in schedule is required and expected. Training: A paid training program must be successfully completed and graduated.
A day of life
Submit, review and evaluate new account requests from multiple channels: Stores, online and / or users responding to promotional invitations
Process, review register referrals, requests for Nordstrom.com transactions and credit line extensions.
Respond to complex inbound account inquiries using up-to-date information on Visa, Retail, Corporate Card, Debit and Gift Card products.
Answer and resolve basic inbound and outbound customer, store and helpline calls.
Resolve customer queries regarding online registration, password, sign-in issues and other online related questions.
Perform other assigned duties.
You own it if you have
High school, GED or vocational school diploma is required.
1+ years experience in customer service
Ability to apply strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills independently.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and co-workers.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to work on a flexible schedule based on department requirements, including nights and weekends
