The role of an Ovation Specialist Travel Consultant at GBT is to provide an exceptional travel services experience for our corporate business customers. Working together as a high-performing team, our Ovation Specialist Travel Consultants provide GBT corporate clients with exceptional passenger care, first call resolution and the highest standards of customer service. It is a high-touch service environment, where you can improve service relationships and customer experience by providing creative and timely travel solutions, maximizing provider revenue, using available tools and technology as needed. There will be real accountability.

This role will form part of a highly skilled team of Corporate Ovation Specialist Travel Consultants based virtually from home. This role will report to the Operations Supervisor and support the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Hours of Operation and Shifts Available: 8am to 9pm ET Monday through Friday

Act as a trusted advisor and consultant for one or more corporate accounts with a willingness to jump in and flexibility in shifts to meet client needs. Support other Ovation functions, including other Ovation users when directed to do so by Ovation leadership.

Act as a point of sale on all domestic and international travel requirements, arranging routine and complex travel for air, rail, car, and hotel accommodation, (GDS), using Sabri.

Provide consulting advice, solutions and recommendations. Additionally, actively selling additional services to our travelers (eg, hotel and car), while ensuring compliance with customer travel policy and requirements and adhering to quality assurance standards.

Comply with all legal standard requirements, including mandatory training, compliance and sanctions.

Provide expectations on individual/joint team goals and support all business key performance indicators. Proactively evaluate your performance to evaluate and improve performance.

Adhere to internal compliance and regulatory requirements for all customers and supported locations.

Manage the end-to-end booking process through ticketing and order fulfillment, either over the telephone, via messaging or email or through back office systems and servicing platforms.

Work in a telephony servicing environment where you are accountable for key performance indicators of success, such as customer satisfaction (CSAT), key productivity metrics (eg call adherence and call service metrics), and key contributions. Stocking and preferred air and hotel sales partners

Work in a multi-channel (phone, email and chat) servicing environment where you measure key performance indicators of success, such as customer satisfaction (CSAT), key productivity metrics (eg call adherence and call service metrics). Be accountable

Use positive telephone service techniques; Follow up on special customer requests and maintain excellent client relationships

Coach, develop and mentor more junior Ovation Specialist Travel Consultant colleagues on the team as needed.

Demonstrate enthusiasm and energy within the organization and always act in accordance with company ethics, values ​​and compliance guidelines.

Additional accountability

Investigate/Action Ovation Specialize Travel Consultants Reservations/PNR for ticketing, quality/accuracy, customer growth or lowest fares (eg, CSI, Going the Extra Mile "GEM")

Key Competencies and Attributes:

Detailed understanding of fares and ticketing rules for car, air, hotel travel

Knowledge and Experience:

Air, rail, hotel, car booking

Calculating and processing exchanges

Advanced expertise in Saber GDS

Experience working in a high-touch service environment where performance is measured.

Experience working in a team

Background in business travel

A passion for excellence in client service

Excellent professional communication - both written and verbal

Detail oriented - Ability to act with integrity, and deal sensitively with passenger personal and confidential information.

Ability to research and resolve customer service and passenger issues independently and/or with supplier

Problem solving with a process improvement mindset
