Warehouse Supervisor Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all distribution center activities including processing inbound containers, changing customer orders, inventory accuracy, customer deliveries, maintaining a safe work environment, equipment and quality. Help create a positive work environment and provide both direction and motivation for team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Working with existing staff, and through recruitment, to further develop the warehouse team.
- Lead the team to ensure all key performance metrics are achieved including units processed per hour, daily workflow monitoring, and division of work among team members.
- Coaching and guiding the team to ensure they meet their goals.
- Responsible for hiring and terminating warehouse services.
- Improve procedures and warehouse organization.
- Ensure that safety procedures are followed and conduct regular safety training.
- Interface with administration and all areas of office and warehouse
- Develop basic principles of supervision and leadership of the team.
- Know and understand the technical applications of the job and prepare the warehouse staff to train new employees according to those applications.
- Communicate with top management and make suggestions for achieving goals and removing obstacles.
- Education/Experience: Two-year Associate's Degree with 3-5 years of general warehouse experience in a fast-paced, warehouse environment.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience in Microsoft Office programs.
Certificates and Licenses: Certification to operate forklifts and pickers
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Experience:
3-5 years of general warehouse experience in a fast-paced, warehouse environment. And 1-2 years of experience in a distribution center lead or supervisor role is preferred.
